Original artwork - 12inx12in - Colored pencil on white Canson paper - Opals and pearls have long facinated this artist, along with all things iridescent...so here is an attempt to recreate these in pencil. Unfortunately, much of the detail work is lost due to low resolution, but the overall effect can be seen well enough. Meant to hang diagonally.

Is this new? I must've missed it somehow! I love it! I used to think hummingbirds were timid, girlie sort of creatures until we started getting them at our feeders. They are the complete opposite and I love them!! They are curious and fiesty and bold and they are my very favorite thing about summer!! I love your other hummingbird piece as well. Keep up the good work!!
